Merry Christmas everyone!

Hello hello children:

How is December going? It has been really cold these last days!

Christmas has already arrived to Pio XII school... Corridors, classrooms and some other places are beautifully decorated thanks to the hard work of children and their teachers!

Moreover, on the last weeks pupil families donated clothes, food and toys togive away between families with a bad economic situation at home. The resutl were awasome! As you can see in the picts the solidarity of people had no limits...

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!

Dear greeners:

Many things have happened on the last weeks at school.

We celebrated The Chesnut party at school. We ate lots and lots of chesnut that our dear worker Suso had previously cooked. We played traditional games with the help of the teachers and we really enjoyed!

Moreover, last Thursday 28th of November  we celebrated The Thanksgiving day in our English lessons. 
Furthermore, pupils made beautiful turkeys on the Arts& crafts lesson with teacher Teresa. They made them by using a curious technique: using our own hands shapes. How cool!!!!

The 6th grade having fun pulling up the weeds. They are very hard workers!

The 6th grade prepares the soil, pulls up the weeds, finds seeds, a grasshoppr, a lizard, a root, some flowers, and an onion! Good work guys! Well done!

Children of classroom 4th B felt really happy today when they received by post a letter from USA .
It was Anibal, a galician friend who moved with his family to Stansford (Connecticut) two years ago he was a student at Pio XII school, and he never forgot his old classmates!

He sent us a funny DARK VADER STYLE DOG POSTCARD with some photos of Anibal doing interesting things in USA.

Here it is our friend Anibal on a fruit garden in Connecticut. There were lots of apples!

In USA there are lots of insects too!In Connecticut there aer lots of Cicades, they live underground and they go out in summertime!

Anibal visited a beautiful animal farm in Connecticut. he really enjoyed there!

SHUTTLE DISCOVERY SPACESHIP. IT´S REAL! Anibal was AT THE SPACE MUSEUM IN WASHINGTON and saw this huge spaceship!
AMAZING!!!!

As you can see our friend is a musician too!



Now we are going to write him back...in English! We will prepare a letter at the English lesson with teacheR Patri and we will send it as soon as posible!
We can´t wait for it!!!!!
